It’s not the big companies that are most susceptible to data breaches these days. The biggest concern should be for the midsize to smaller business which lacks the resources and staff to counter this threat. It’s prudent for all business entities to have a data breach response plan and to conduct at least annually a self-assessment or a third party to assist in this effort.
