OSHA Announces New System For Inspections

OSHA will begin to adjust its inspections on October 1st to a weighted or tiered system.  The more complex the inspection requiring more resources from OSHA will have greater weight or significance.  What does this mean for the employer?  Too early to tell.  Industry experts recommend reviewing your current policies and procedures to ensure compliance.  More importantly, verify that the practical implementation of the policies and procedures are happening and being documented.
